You have to use the equation c=λν
c= the speed of light (3.00x10^8 m/s)
λ= the wavelength in m (in this case the unknown)
ν= the frequency in Hz or s^-1 (in this case 96.9x10^6 Hz)
The frequency of the 96.90 FM radio station is 96.90 MHz which equals 96.9x10^6 Hz and we know the speed of light since it is a constant. with this information we can rewrite the equation as λ=c/ν to get wavelength.
λ=(3.00x10^8 m/s)/(96.9x10^6 Hz)
λ=3.10 m
