Are Husky German Shepherd mix good dogs? I know about huskies. I've been around huskies. I'm currently looking for a dog for my family. The kind that would be active if I'd like to go running, but would be also be happy to sit next to me watching tv. That's how my husky was before he passed away years ago. I also would like a guard dog, and I know that huskies are not quite guard dogs. I saw a Husky German Shepherd mix at a pound, and I'm thinking of adopting, but I don't know anything about German Shepherds nor have I been around one. What do I need to know about this mix breed?

Depends on the dog personality we had one named Macy May she was spayed and went insane and mean she was a rescue dog. They are very hyper she never settled and was a great escape artist.
