(p-4)(p-2)

The 2 numbers have to add up to make the -6
-2+-4=-6
and they have to multiply together to make 8
-2 x -4 = 8

hope this helps!

assuming you meant
p^2-6p+8
then
find what 2 numbes multiply to get 8 and add to get -6
numbers are -2 and -4
(p-2)(p-4)
