For this question you should divide both sides of the equation by -6 so you will have:
-6y/-6 = 18/-6
y = 18/-6
y = -3 :)))

It equals -3.
Divide both sides by -6 to isolate your variable (y).
18/-6 is -3.
So your answer is -3=y
