We have a right triangle.

We have to find the length of the hypotenuse (c), knowing the lengths of the legs.

We can use the pythagorean theorem: the sum of the squares of the legs is equal to the square of the hypotenuse.

In our case, it will be:

\begin{gathered} (4.1)^2+(8.1)^2=c^2 \\ 16.81+65.61=c^2 \\ 82.42=c^2 \\ c=\sqrt[]{82.42} \\ c\approx9.1 \end{gathered}

Answer: c = 9.1
