The given inequality is:


2x+4<-x+1

Simplifying it:


\begin{gathered} 2x+x<1-4 \\ 3x<-3 \\ x<-1 \end{gathered}

So:

a) English - All real number less than equal to -1.

b). Algebraic - x<-1

c). Number line: i used open circle on number line at -1 because x is not equal to -1 so it should not be included.

d). Interval notation:


(\infty,-1)
