because the denominators are the same you can just add:
add the whole numbers:
7+4=11
add the numerators:
4+3=7
after doing that you now have:
11 7/6
now make 11 7/6 into a proper mixed number:
11 7/6 --> 12 1/6
the
answer is 12 1/6
