52 cm long is cut into three pieces
x + y + z = 52
such that the second piece is twice as long as the first
y = 2x
third is 7 cm longer than the second
z = y + 7

So,
z = 2x + 7

x + 2x + 2x + 7 = 52
5x = 45
x = 9
y = 18
z = 25. I think

Answer:

I found the answer, sorry for the last answer it mustve thrown you off, and I know its late but here we go. So its 5cm because 5cm is one piece, if we double that it is 10cm, this is our second piece. It states that the third piece is 3cm longer than the second, which would be 13cm. So 13cm+10cm+5cm is 28cm, the length of the original board

hope i helped this time
