1. a² + 8a = 0
a(a) + (8) = 0
a(a + 8) = 0
a = 0 or a + 8 = 0
- 8 - 8
a = -8

2. (3h - 6)(2h - 8) = 0
(3(h) - 3(2))(2(h) - 2(4)) = 0
(3(h - 2))(2(h - 4)) = 0
6(h - 2)(h - 4) = 0
