Given the equation

3n+5=22

n=6 will be a solution of the equation if when n=6 the result is equal to 22.

Therefore:

\begin{gathered} 3(6)+5 \\ 18+5=23 \end{gathered}

Answer: Since the result when n=6 is 23 and not 22 , n=6 is not solution of the equation.
