If the state of matter is a solid and transforms into a liquid,then the energy level is increased and if it is going from a liquid to a solid the energy level is decreased

The ability to do work or cause change.
Every chemical and physical change in matter includes a change in energy.
Energy is conserved in a chemical change.
Energy is never created or destroyed.
Energy is only transformed from one form to another.
