for this question, you should find the area of each shape.
So first you can find the area of square:
7/8 * 7/8 = 49/64
now you can find the area of the rectangle:
1/4 * 3 = 3/4
so you should know that 3/4 is equal to 48/64
now you can see that 49/64 is greater than 48/64 or 3/4 (which is the same)
so the area of the square with 7/8 mile sides is larger that the rectangle that is 1/4 mile by 3 :))))
I hope this is helpful
have a nice day
