There are 56 cookies in a cookie jar, of which 42 are chocolate cookies and 14 are peanut butter cookies. What is the ratio of peanut butter cookies to the total number of cookies in the jar?

the ratio is 14:56 or 14/56 or 14 to 56

To find the ratio, if there are 56 cookies right? So 14/56 so what is the ratio then, you have to what a ration is to find it. I assume you know it, so 14/56 is?
