Okay so basically the question is asking you to write an equation to show the amount of fish in a small aquarium. What is given to you is that there are 19 fish in the large aquarium and a small aquarium holds 6 less fish than the large aquarium. So based on that you know that if you do 19-6 you get the amount of fish in the small aquarium. Now all you have to do is make the equation. :) hope that helped.

Answer: The required equation :
x+6=19

There are 13 fishes in small aquarium.

Explanation:

Let the number of fishes in small aquarium be x.

Given : A large aquarium has 6 more fish then a small aquarium.

There are 19 fishes in a large aquarium.

Then, the equation to find the number of fishes in small aquarium (x) is given by:_

x+6=19

To solve the above equation, subtract 6 from each sides , we get

x=13

Hence, there are 13 fishes in small aquarium.
