If Lauren has to get $80 and only has $17 she has 17/80. 17 divided by 80 is 0.2125. To convert decimals to percents, you move the decimal over to the right 2 times. Your answer is 21.25

You have to set up a proportion:
17/80 = x/100
17 x 100 = 1700
1700/80 = 21.25
21.25%
