Direct democracy -
all adult male citizens attending the Assembly could vote on the issue proposed at the time

Hi Caleben,
So in an Assembly, male citizens were allowed to speak their minds and vote on certain topics regarding government or city issues. This was a government of
democracy
, or action on the majority vote.
