The slope of a line

The image shows a grid where two points are located.

Though they don't have exact locations, the slope can still be calculated.

Some assumptions must be done to estimate the location of the points.

Measuring the points from the center of the coordinates (origin), we have the points (-2,-3) (4,-3)

Suppose we know the line passes through points A(x1,y1) and B(x2,y2). The slope can be calculated with the equation:

\displaystyle m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)

Substituting the values:

\displaystyle m=(-3+3)/(4+2)=(0)/(6)=0

The slope is 0
