ok so remember if
a^x=a^y then x=y and
(x^m)^n=x^(mn)
try to make bases the same
81=9*9=3*3*3*3=3^4 so
81^x=(3^4)^x=3^(4x)
remember that 3=3^1
now we have
3^(4x)=3^(1)
therefor
4x=1
divide both sides by 4
x=1/4
x=1/4
