Answer: 4.5 feet he can buy if he has $11.25

Explanation:

Since we have given that

Cost of candy per foot = $2.50

Total money he spent on candy = $11.25

Let the number of feet he can bought be x

Now, According to question, we get that ,

2.50x=11.25\\\\x=(11.25)/(2.50)\\\\x=4.5

So, 4.5 feet he can buy if he has $11.25.
