Solve by graphing5x^2 + 8x -13 = 0I understand:a=5b=8c=-13The axis of symmetry is -b/2a. That is -8/2(5) = -4/5So, x = -4/5I think the y-intercept is (0,-13). But, beyond that, I am totally confused about this. Would love a clear explanation for why/how this works.

using the related function to the equation

y=5x^2+8x-13

then, the solutions to the system are the points where the function graph crosses the x-axis which in this case are x=1 and x=-2.6

Solve by graphing5x^2 + 8x -13 = 0I understand:a=5b=8c=-13The axis of symmetry is-example-1
