Prince Estabrook was an African American minuteman who fought and was injured at the famous Battle of Lexington and Concord. He enlisted in the Lexington militia in 1773 and served the American Army on and off until 1783. For his service to the country he was emancipated from slavery by his owner Benjamin Estabrook. Hope this helped :)
