Given that:
Diameter = 5 cm
which means,
Radius=
(diameter)/(2) =
(5)/(2) = 2.5 cm (radius is half the diameter)
and Height = 2 cm
We can assume that the shape is cylindrical

Formula of the Surface Area of a Cylinder
=2
\pir² + 2
\pirh
=2
\pi(2.5)² + 2
\pi(2.5)(2)
=12.5
\pi + 10
\pi
=22.5
\pi cm² (in terms of
\pi)
=70.69 cm² ≈ 70.7 cm²
