30% as a decimal to the nearest hundredth

to do this you take 30% then move a dot 2 spots to the left of the percent sign so it would be .30 and the 3 is a tenth and 0 is a hundredth its already at nearest hundredth so dont round

Simple! To convert a percent to a decimal, all you have to do is divide by 100 (move decimal to the left 2 places). So...

30% ÷ 100 = .30

* Note - I left the answer as .30 as opposed to dropping the zero because it specifically asked for the answer rounded to the nearest hundredth.
