A sample of 40 batteries is taken from a case of 400. Thirty-seven of the batteries in the sample are good, and three are defective. Let p= the probability that a battery case is still good. Which of the following is NOT a possible value for p?

A. 0.5
B. 0.75

The answer is option E i.e., 1 because we know that there are 3 defective batteries in the case so the probability will never be 1 for this case.
