I am assuming this was the question you want answered
3x+6x^2+6x+5 = 2x+x+1
First you would combine all like terms on both sides. Start with the numbers with x
3x+6x= 9x
2x+x= 3x
Now multiply 6*2
6*2= 12

Now you have you have
9x+12+5 = 3x+1

Now combine 12+5
12+5=17

Now you have
9x+17 = 3x+1

Now subtract 1 from both sides
9x+17 = 3x+1
-1 -1
9x+16 = 3x+0

Now subtract 9x from both sides
9x+16 = 3x+0
-9x -9x
0+16 = -6x

Now divide -6 by both sides
16 = -6x
---- ----
6 6

The final answer is 2 2/3 = x or 2.66666 = x
