Given:
1/6 of a crate of potatoes every
1/18 of an hour
We get the unit rate by dividing the ratio of the crate by the ratio of the hour.
1/6 ÷ 1/18 ⇒ 1/6 * 18/1 = 18/6 = 3 per hour
The unit rate is 3 per hour.
