Subtract 66 from both sides

2x^2+12x -66 = 66-66

2x^2+12x-66= 0

Use quadratic formula with a=2, b=12 , c= -66

x= −b±b24ac2a

x=(12)±(12)24(2)(−66)2(2)x=−12±√6724x=−3+√42‌ or ‌x=−3√42Answer:x=−3+√42‌ or ‌x=−3√42
I hope that's help !
