Solution:

Total Number of CD's=215 classical CD's + 125 jazz CD's, and 330 soft rock CD's

=215+125+330

=340+330

=670 CD's

Number of CD's that Julia want to place in each group = 5 CD's

There are two ways in which 5 CD's can be placed in a group, either 5 CD's in a row or 5 CD's in a Column.

Let number of rows that contain 5 CD's in a group in the shelf = x

And, Number of Columns which contain 5 CD's in a group in the shelf= y

Equation containing number of groups containing 5 CD's can be written as

→5 x=670

OR

→5 y= 670

Total number of groups in either case will be

=(670)/(5)\\\\=154
