C. Because miles is a distance. To find the length of a room you would use feet (or you could use yards). To find the length of notebook paper you would use inches. And the width of a dime would most likely be centimeters. :)

You would measure C - The distance an airplane travels because a mile is 5280 feet, so a mile would be way longer than all the other choices.
