A fence is shown on a blueprint and has a sides of leg the 17cm,18cm,18cm and 19cm.If themail scale on the blueprintis2cm:7cm,what is the total length of the fence?please tell me how did you get it.

The answer is 252 cm. You divide each number by two and then multiply what ever that is by 7. ( since the ratio is 2:7)

ok so 2cm on the blueprint is actually 7cm in real life
2:7=1:3.5
for every cm on the map, it is 3.5 times that in real life

so total legnths
17 times 3.5+18 times 3.5+18 times 3.5+19 times 3.5=
59.5+63+63+66.5=
252

answer is 252cm
