Solve x

Substitute -y+6 for x in 3x-4y=-31

3x-4y=-31

3(-y+6)-4y=-31

Simplify both sides of the equation

-7y + 18 = -31

Add -18 to both sides

-7y+18-18=-31-18

7y= -49

Divide both sides by -7

7y/-7= -49/-7

y= 7

Substitute 7 for y in x = -y+6

x= -y+6

x= -7+6

Simplify both sides of the equation

x= -1

Answer : x= -1 and y = 7

I hope that's help and have a great night !
