The formula for the Volume of a Cone is
r²h
Let us substitute:
V=
×3.14×6²×16
=602.88 in³
The radius is half the diameter.(12in=d,r=
=
= 6 in)
pi was taken as 3.14

Radius = 12/2 = 6 in
Height = 16 in
V = 3.14*6
²*16/3
V = 602.88
The volume would be:
Volume = 602.88 in^3
