Postwar conditions after the World War I was able to rise an antidemocratic government in Europe due to the Great Depression - which affected Europe very hard. This led to jobless people, along with poor lifestyle with a rapid burst in inflation. It eventually led towards antidemocratic idealism, and then led towards development of such government.
