The equation is of the form y = mx+b where m=solope and b=y-intercept, so we have the points:

P1(-3, 2) and P2(0, -1)

Then for slope:

m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)=(-1-2)/(0-(-3))=(-3)/(3)=-1

For y-intercept:

\begin{gathered} y=mx+b \\ -1=-1(0)+b \\ -1=0+b \\ b=-1 \end{gathered}

Therefore the equation is:

y=-x-1
