To find the slope we need two points and the formula

m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

where (x2,y2) is a right point from (x1,y1) so x2>x1

now replacing

\begin{gathered} m=(5-2)/(8-6) \\ \\ m=(3)/(2) \end{gathered}

the slope is 3/2
