Mudslides, landslides, and rock slides can cause material to move downhill due to the force of gravity.

When it causes material to move to a new location, gravity is acting as a force of

The act of removing soil or rock or the dissolving of these particles is known as erosion.

Temperature change would really do much physically, mountain building has nothing to do with its gravity (over all), and weathering would completely destroy it!
