You first want to isolate that negative -4y by subtracting 4x from both sides. Then divide everything by -4. You should get an equation that is in slope intercept form (y=mx+b)

4x-4y=5\ \ \ |Subtract\ 4c\ from\ each\ side\\\\ -4y=5-4x\ \ \ |Divide\ by\ -4\ each\ side\\\\ y=(5-4x)/(-4)=-(5)/(4)+x\\\\Solution\ is\ y=-(5)/(4)+x
