he needs to heat his reactants to 232°C, what temperature will he need to monitor on his lab thermometers?

The equation for comparing Fahrenheit and Celsius degrees is:

At the same temperature . . .
Fahrenheit reading = (1.8 times Celsius reading) + 32
.
F = (1.8 x 232) + 32
F = 417.6 + 32
F = 449.6°
