If they have 48 buckets and each package makes 9 buckets all you have to do is divide 48/9 = 5.3 so all you need is 6 packages because 5.3 isn't sold so 6 or 5 and a small one.

the will need 6 boxes because 9 times 5 is 45 and you need 3 more boxes to make 48 buckets
