Yes a chameloen is part of the reptile family. And there ae different types of chameloen. There is one chameloen that changes colors. For defense or camouflage itself from predators.

Yes. A chameleon is a lizard. They belong to the family Chameleonidae.
So chameleons belong to the reptile family.
