The container is emptied into 3 pints and 2 cups.

1 pint is equivalent to 2 cups, then 3 pints are equivalent to 3x2 = 6 cups.

Therefore, the container can hold 2 + 6 = 8 cups of juice. Or what is the same, the container has a capacity of 8 cups
