For this problem we need to set up a proportion:)
1.) 1/100 = x/800
2.) Cross multiply
3.) 100x= 800
4.) Divide 800 by 100, which equals 8
So the answer to this would be 8 gl. of paint.
Hope this helped!:)

1 liter = 100ft^2
so then
8 liters = 800ft^2
But it wants gallons so.. convert!
8 Liters * .264172 (US) Gallons = (approximatly) 2.113376
