D. They were resented by some American workers and taxpayers.

Many mexican immigrant workers come to the United States every year, and have been coming for the past decades, they were paid the minimun wage and with people back in mexico to feed, they sent most of their wages back and left a minimum part for them to live here, this makes them live in poor cities and barrios, also they do not receive education and most of the times do no know the language or their rights, they over all of these are resented by some americans.
