Answer:

B.possess absolute power.

Step-by-step explanation:

Thomas Hobbes was a philosopher(English) and he is considered as one of the founder of modern political philosophy. He has this political theory that a society is more secured if it is at the disposal of an absolute sovereign. He believe the sovereign have total control over individual and it can hold on to anything of the subject without consent.

He believed to run effective government the power of the authority must not be limited or divided. He believes the leaders must posses absolute authority for the society to operate effectively. He believes when power are shared in a government , it might lead to paralysis in running the affairs of the society.
