what was the significance of daniel boones clearing of the cumberland gap? how do you think this affected the shawnee indians and other native groups?

Since he cleared it out, that meant that more hunters could come and they would bring their families and they would settle there. This was bad for the natives because this meant that there would be less hunting for them because the settlers would soon exterminate all the animals with bad hunting habits. The settlers soon overpopulated the area and the natives had to move.
