Find the slope of the line 8x-4y=8\

You first have to put 8x-4y=8 into y=mx+b
So -4y=8x+8
You have to get y alone
so you divide each side by -4 y=-2x-2
the slope is -2

8x - 4y = 8. Change to form y = mx + c. Where m = slope

-4y = -8x + 8. Divide both sides by 4.

-4y/-4 = (-8x + 8)/-4

y = 2x - 2. Compare to y = mx + c.

Slope, m = 2.
