Multiply 1/2 by 5/5.
This is 5/10.
Multiply 2/5 by 2/2.
This is 4/10.
These are not the same .

because 1/2 does not go in to 2/5 because there is not nothing that can not be multiplied in to 5 it can only go in 4 is the closer to 5 than another number
