Sydney is wrong.
is equivalent to the fraction
, which is the same as 0.5 in decimal form. It is not closer to either 0 or 1 as the distance between the two numbers are equal. (0.5 - 0.5 = 0, 0.5 + 0.5 = 1. It is exactly in the middle of 0 and 1.
