How would you have planned the Jamestown colony to ensure a good and prosperous start? Include the kind of people you would have sent, supplies that would have been needed, type of government, choice of a location, and plans for growth. Your essay should be 350 words in length.

I know I'm extremely late, but I will put a revamped version of this paragraph here if anyone wants it.


I would send some workers, lumberjacks, and blacksmiths. I would bring weaponry along with a weapons trainer, in case we meet hostile people. I would bring materials for clothing and armor, and men for working, lifting, and construction. Craftsmen, and people who sew for clothing. I would bring crop seeds, gardeners, farming tools, and composted fertilizer. I would find a place with fertile soil, a water source, and trees. We would cut the trees down and use the wood to make houses and structures, then start gardening and planting the crop seeds. Some would hunt while we wait for the plants to grow. I would allow the people to vote as a community for the president/leader.

I would send some good workers, and lumberjacks or blacksmiths. I would bring axes, guns, and a lot of weaponry in the case that we might meet an unfriendly people. I would make sure to bring cloth, and a lot of men for working, lifting and building, Maybe some craftsmen and women who sew too. (We need clothes)
Okay I would bring plant seeds, gardeners, spades, and a lot of growing utensils. I would try to find a place with good soil, a water source, and a lot of trees. We would cut down the trees, and make houses, then start gardening and planting our food. Some of us would have to hunt while we wait for the plants to grow. Meat for everyone!! I would use a republican government and allow the people to vote on their on for the president!
