For each one, divide the quantity by the cost, to get the "unit cost".
#1: 8 lbs / $16 = 0.5 pound per $
#2: 5 lbs / $12.99 = 0.385 pound per $
#3: 8 lbs / $17 = 0.471 pound per $
#4: P lbs / $18.99 = P/18.99 pound per $
